Itinerary

Day 01
Kathmandu

Arrive Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport you will meet our tour manager. He will assist you to transfer to your hotel.

Day 02
Nepalgunj

Fly to Nepalgunj

Morning sightseeing tour of Kathmandu and in afternoon fly to Nepal Gunj – one hr flight. Night halt at a hotel in Nepalgunj.

Day 03
Simikot

Fly Nepalgunj – Simikot (2870 m )

Early morning fly to Simmikot by fixed wing plane (1hr flight) and full day acclimatization stay at Simmikot. Night halt at Simikot.

Day 04
Taklakote

Simikot– Hilsa – Taklakote (3900m).

Early morning fly to Hilsa by helicopter (22 mints flight) and trek 15 mints to cross –over border and drive to Taklakote. After arriving Taklakote check into hotel. Rest of the day is free for acclimatization. Night halt at Taklakote.

Day 05
Mansarovar

Drive Taklakote to Mansarovar (4560 m) / 1 hr Drive.

Early in the morning drive to Mansarovar - Religious pooja – hawan etc. Overnight stay at Mansarovar.

Day 06
Diraphuk

Mansarovar-Darchen –Tarboche & Trek to Diraphuk(4860 m).

After breakfast drive to Tarboche - visit YAMADWAR and start Holy Kailas Parikrama, trek 12 kms to Diraphuk (16,500 ft), light lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight at camp (2 men tent).

Day 07
Zuthulpuk

Trek to Zuthulpuk (4760 M) 22 km / 9- 10 hrs.

This is the day every pilgrims talk about, the most difficult journey throughout the yatra - trek up to the 18,600ft. (Dolma- la Pass) - descend to Gauri kund and further trek along with the river to Zuthulpuk, dinner & overnight at Camp (2 men tent).

Day 08
Taklakote

Zuthulpuk – Darchen – Mansarovar Parikrama - Taklakote.

After breakfast we trek around 8 kms and will be reaching to the point where the jeeps will be waiting for drive to Darchen. After lunch proceed to Lake Mansarovar- Religious Pooja & Parikrama of Lake Mansarovar. Dinner - and overnight at Taklakote.

Day 09
Kathmandu

Drive to Hilsa and fly to Simmikot – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu.

After breakfast - drive to Hilsa and fly to Simmikot – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu, overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 10
Kathmandu

Transfer to airport for departure

After breakfast check out hotel and transfer to airport for onward journey. End of the tour.

Mt. Kailash

Mount Kailash is a peak in the Kailash Range (Gangdisê Mountains), which forms part of the Transhimalaya in the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China. According to Hinduism, Lord Shiva, the god of gods, resides at the summit of a legendary mountain named Kailash, where he sits in a state of perpetual meditation along with his wife Parvati. He is at once the Lord of Yoga and therefore the ultimate renunciate ascetic, yet he is also the divine master of Tantra.

Mansarovar

Lake Mansarovar

Lake Mansarovar is near Mount Kailash in Tibet. The lake is revered a sacred place in four religions: Bön, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. According to Sanatan (Hindu) divine texts, its water has eternal power enabling personification of purity, and one who drinks water from the lake will go to the abode of Shiva after death. He is believed to be cleansed of all his sins committed over even a hundred lifetimes.
