Itinerary
Day 01
Kathmandu
Arrive Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport you will meet our tour manager. He will assist you to transfer to your hotel.
Day 02
Kathmandu
Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast we will go for local sightseeing which will include Pashupatinath Temple, Budhanilkanth (Sleeping Vishnu), etc. After sightseeing we will do briefing and orientation program regards tour.
Day 03
Kerung
Kathmandu to Kerung ( Gyirong )
After breakfast, we will depart towards Kerung. After reaching Kerung check in to hotel. Rest of the day is free. Night halt at Kerung.
Day 04
Kerung
Kerung (Acclimatization)
Today you go for a short hiking above Kerung for a couple of hours. Rest of the day is free in Kerung for acclimatization purpose.
Day 05
Dongba
Kerung to Dongba
After breakfast we drive to Dongba. After reaching Dongba check in to hotel. Rest of the day is free. Night halt at Dongba.
Day 06
Mansarovar
Dongba to Mansarovar
Today is the day of a lifetime you are going to have darshan of the holy “Mt. Kailash & Mansarovar Lake”. After breakfast, we drive through Mayum –la pass (5200 m /17000 ft) and arrive at Hor Chu (4560 m). Lunch will be provided on the way. From Hor Chu we will do parikrama of Mansarovar lake by drive and arrive at Chu Gompa for night halt.
Day 07
Darchen
Mansarovar to Darchen(Base camp of Kailash)
In the morning we will take holy bath do pooja and havan at Mansarovar. Feel the presence of divine in and around Manasarovar and have darshan of Mighty Kailash Ji. After lunch we will drive to Darchen. Night Halt at Darchen.
Day 08
Dirapuk
Darchen – Tarboche – Yamdwar to Dirapuk (First day of Parikrama)
After breakfast in the morning drive to Tarboche. Here you will meet our yaks and yak men and we will start our parikrama visit yamdwar on the way. On the way you will have a darshan of West Face of Kailash. Packed lunch will be provided which we will take on the way. Today your night halt will be at Dirapuk. From Dirapuk you will have darshan of North face of Kailash.
Day 09
Zutulpuk
Dirapuk – Dolma- La Pass to Zutulpuk (2nd Day of Parikrama)
Early Morning trek uphill to Dolmala Pass (5850 m). It takes about 4 to 5 hrs to reach there. After reaching at the top we will trek down to reach Zutulpuk on the way you will see Gauri Kund. This is the longest and toughest day of parikrama.
Day 10
Dongba
Zutulpuk – Darchen – Dongba (3rd Day of Parikrama)
Today is the last day of parikrama. After breakfast, we will trek around 8 km with the winding gradual trek. When we reach place called Chongdo, we will meet our coach and drive back to Dongba Lunch on the way.
Day 11
Kerung
Dongba – Kerung
Morning after breakfast be ready for the journey back to Kerung with sweet memories of Mt. Kailash & Mansarovar Lake.
Day 12
Kathmandu
Kerung – Kathmandu
After breakfast drive from Kerung to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu and check into hotel remaining day is free for rest.
Day 13
Kathmandu
Depart from Kathmandu
After breakfast check out hotel and transfer to airport for onward journey. End of the tour.

Mt. Kailash
Mount Kailash is a peak in the Kailash Range (Gangdisê Mountains), which forms part of the Transhimalaya in the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China. According to Hinduism, Lord Shiva, the god of gods, resides at the summit of a legendary mountain named Kailash, where he sits in a state of perpetual meditation along with his wife Parvati. He is at once the Lord of Yoga and therefore the ultimate renunciate ascetic, yet he is also the divine master of Tantra.

Lake Mansarovar is near Mount Kailash in Tibet. The lake is revered a sacred place in four religions: Bön, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. According to Sanatan (Hindu) divine texts, its water has eternal power enabling personification of purity, and one who drinks water from the lake will go to the abode of Shiva after death. He is believed to be cleansed of all his sins committed over even a hundred lifetimes.
